I hereby give my permission for first aid or emergency medical treatment to be given as needed to my child/musher (Named Above) while participating in the Canadian Challenge Sled Dog race. If immediate observation or treatment is judged to be necessary by Canadian Challenge Race officials, I authorize and direct them to take the child/musher (properly accompanied) to the most easily accessible hospital or doctor. It is understood that I will assume full responsibility for the payment for any service provided.

Fafard's Wilderness Checkpoint

Located 3 miles off Hwy 165, not accessible to handlers

Dog teams will travel south to the Fafards turn, going left down the road into the checkpoint. There is parking for roughly 6 dog teams on either side of the trail at the Fafards cabins. Trail will exit Fafards around the back of the Musher Cabin, returning to the main trail turning right back to La Ronge.
