Fafard's Wilderness Checkpoint

Located 3 miles off Hwy 165, not accessible to handlers

Dog teams will travel south to the Fafards turn, going left down the road into the checkpoint. There is parking for roughly 6 dog teams on either side of the trail at the Fafards cabins. Trail will exit Fafards around the back of the Musher Cabin, returning to the main trail turning right back to La Ronge.
